Cor & Janny van de Stroet
Cor van de Stroet has been president of the Dutch Association of Dance Teachers (NVD) for 8 years and in this function he worked closely with Mr David Simon. Eventualy this resulted in the creation of Dutch Dance Events. This way Cor and Janny together hope to contribute to the promotion of the dance competition because their "dancing heart" will always be beating.
Since June 2000 Cor van de Stroet is again chairman of the N.V.D. ; besides that he is also active as a board member (Vice-Chairman) of the VBD (Association of Professional Dancesport).
For many, many years Cor and Janny are active as board members in the Foundation Dutch Dance Events (D.D.E.) which organizes annual major sporting events like the Holland Masters at the National Sportscentre Papendal and the World Trophy Latin American from the Kurhaus in Scheveningen.
In 2007, a long cherished wish fulfilled with the establishment of the Foundation Dancesport op maat Netherlands (SDN), which deals with dance for people with intellectual disabilities. Look at the website: www.danssportopmaat.nl
